The Via Ferrata route is a mountain route similar to mountaineering routes, laid out along their entire length with fixed metal structures (iron steps, steel wire ropes, pitons, suspension bridges, etc.), which allow any mountain adventurer with a minimum of physical fitness to reach the peaks safely.

Our favourite routes in the Apuseni Mountains fall into the B (medium) difficulty categories and we offer both specialised guidance, history and description of the area and viewpoints, as well as the obligatory technical equipment (helmet, harness and via ferrata lanyard).
The best time to go is from May to October, avoiding rainy days, when the rock becomes slippery, but for those who want to experience something new, we also organize tours in winter conditions.

Minimum number of participants: 5 persons.

The trail is located in the commune of Arieșeni, village of Vârtop, Bihor county, on the Pietrele Negre cliff.
It has a total length of 200m, with a level difference of 100m.
The estimated walking time is one hour and the retreat is 30 minutes.
The trail offers a beautiful view over the Piatra Grăitoare Peak and Bihorul Peak, the highest peak in the Apuseni Mountains, and ends at a belvedere point where you can admire the entire ridge.

Ice climbing is a great, but quite extreme sport. Just like wall climbing, ice climbing is a form of rock climbing.

Usually, this involves climbing rocky formations like frozen cascades, cliffs, and icy rock walls, using specific techniques and protection equipment (ice axes, spikes).

On a horizontal icy terrain, any hiking boots will do the job, but ice climbing requires special mountaineering boots or leather boots. These need to be compatible with the spikes and be stiff enough to support the climber's weight and hold the ankles tight.

The ice crampons are much longer on the front side than trekking ones, and the ice axes have aggressive blade and curved handles to avoid injuring your hands when striking the ice.

Anyone with, or without personal climbing gear or experience, can try ice climbing at the Răchițele Waterfall.

The transportation and meals are not included.

This experience is suitable for a group of minimum 2, maximum 4 persons.

To the top!

Find out what it means to be a private pilot

Keys, seat, mirror, seat belt?
Almost the same as getting behind the wheel, just as a little different: we are also interested in weather conditions (especially wind direction and intensity), we check the engine oil level carefully, and (sometimes) we need to know what and how to communicate with the control tower.

You could take over!

It is your choice, but if you do not, the flight was in vain. Of course, our pilot takes the plane to a safe height and explains carefully the effect of the controls:
- handle in front: large houses;
- handle in the back: small houses.

Warning: there is a great chance you will enjoy it.

You will be able to fly across known areas, or you will find new perspectives on your way to the Prahova Valley. This is how the passion of the flight started for each of us (along with the disappearance of our savings).

This package is scheduled with the vendor after purchase.

It is important to know that the flight can only take place under favorable weather conditions. The decision to choose the moment of flight belongs to the pilot who will accompany you.

Flight over Bucharest to Prahova Valley

Bucegi, a name that makes you think of steep valleys, sharp edges and a sunny and welcoming plateau.

Many of its routes cross these beautiful landscapes and search for the highest point on the map: Omu peak at 2507 meters.

If you want a memorable hike, we expect you to cross the path together.

Bonus: Another peak of over 2500 meters, enjoy Dumbrava or the Ocolit peak.

The starting point of the hike will be from Padina hut. The route is a circuit and takes about 9 hours. This activity is intended for groups of minimum 5, maximum 10 people. Medium difficulty.

If external factors do not allow a shift to take place, it may be rescheduled in agreement with the organizer.
