Husky Sled Ride - Miercurea Ciuc
This winter we are waiting for you in the Harghita Mountains, where we have prepared a unique experience for you. Known for their impressive manor houses and terminal baths, Harghita and Covasna counties offer breathtaking views. Our husky sleigh ride will also take place in a fairytale landscape. Depending on the duration, we have prepared routes of 2 km (for beginners) and 8-10 km (1.5 hours). For those who would like to have fun on the sleigh for the whole day, we have prepared a 20-25 km route. We recommend that you book at least 3 days in advance so that we can plan the route according to the weather conditions. Let's enter a fairytale world together.

Nordic Skiing in Corbeni Village
Treat yourself with some smooth, Nordic Ski gliding. Nordic skiing is a winter sport that represents a combination of skiing disciplines, in which, unlike alpine skiing, it is not possible to fix the heel on the ski. Nothing compares to slipping on snow. Cross-country skiing is one of the most enjoyable activities, nothing compares to the feeling of floating above the snow. The amplitude of the arm and leg movements works several muscle groups for a muscular tone at maximum capacity even in the cold season. After hours sprinkled with picturesque landscapes, towering fir trees full of snow and a few falls, we are honored with a hot Romanian traditional brandy, 'țuică', to keep us warm.

Snowboard Courses - Straja
It might sound cliché, but snowboarding is more than just a sport, it is an appealing, cool and non-conformist lifestyle. However, it involves risks like any other sporting activity. Viewed like any other art of sports, our priority in monitoring is for you to gain self-confidence, safety and control while enjoying the pleasure of the sport to the fullest by overcoming mental barriers with us. We have improved ourselves, gained experience, developed new programs and activities to suit all requirements. Straja resort has about 26 km of ski area. 20 km are covered with artificial snow. The 11 cableways ensure easy access to all the slopes in the resort. We offer courses for beginners and intermediates as well as for those who want to take their sport to another level with freeride courses. The equipment is rented separately.

Ski Touring in Poiana Brașov, Postăvaru Massif
The activity starts with learning or reviewing the technical basics of ski touring. This will be done on an easy slope (most likely on the Bradul slope) after which we will start climbing up the edge of the slope, then through the forest to the Postavaru Chalet. Along the way, we will take short breaks to rest (to catch our breath) as well as to check and improve our climbing technique, especially where the slope changes. Postavaru Chalet is the highest point of our route today, where we will relax in the company of hot tea. The trail is ~4km long and the estimated climbing time is between 1h and 1h30min depending on the ability and level of physical training of the participants. After the well-deserved break at the chalet and hot tea, we dress thicker and start the descent back to the starting point, which can be done in approx. 15-30min. In order not to overlap with other skiers, we recommend that this tour starts after 16:00. During the tour we will use headlamp to light our way. Note: This experience does not represent a ski lesson, the participants must have sufficient alpine skiing knowledge, and be able to ski without difficulty and in all conditions on minimum blue level slopes. For the safety of the participants, the guide - experienced instructor, will be the only one who will make the best decision about the route to follow, the way to descend, but also if the participants have enough technical skills to ski safely. Note: equipment is limited, please book in advance. Included services: - professional guide to accompany you on the route; - equipment (skis, seals, ski poles); - headlamp (for night tours); - hot tea at Postavaru Chalet. Not included: - car transport; - accommodation, meals or other drinks. Starting point: Hotel Alpin, Poiana Brasov (at the Alpin Ski Academy office – ski equipment rental centre). Required equipment: - ski suit or windproof clothing, not very thick; - hat, gloves, ski goggles, helmet; - we recommend a thicker spare jacket, for the descent; - small backpack with a snack + water. Minimum 2 persons, maximum 8 persons.
